TPT Power Range Iron Shaft
TPT stands for Thin Ply Technology
This is an advanced method for creating ultra-thin graphite fiber plies.
Originally developed for elite sail racing, aerospace and motorsport, Thin Ply is twice as thin as traditional graphite, allowing for a more homogeneous structure—like sharpening a picture’s resolution.
Why Should Golfers Care About Thin Ply?
With Thin Ply, golfers experience immediate feedback and improved club head awareness.
This boosts their confidence to swing with maximum power, while the shaft does the work to maintain consistency of strike location.
Why TPT’s Automated Process Is a Game-Changer?
It eliminates shaft spine, resulting in a more stable and consistent performance.
Thanks to its low torque design, golfers can confidently play with softer shafts, gaining both enhanced control and improved distance.
The Power Range Iron shafts are .370 parallel tips. They can be tapered if you wish.
- The TPT Power Range Irons are designed to be put straight in and butt trimmed to fit
each iron. We are aware this is different than any other iron shafts. The fact is we
tested this method, and it worked. The results were so good we wanted to bring
them to the market. - If you wish they can be tip trimmed up to 1”
- It is okay to mix and match if you as a fitter believe it is necessary. For example, a set of 16 series irons could have the 16Lo in the 6-PW irons and the 16Hi in the 3-5
irons. Although I have not made or heard of a set being made that used 2 different
series mixed like 14s in the low and mid irons and the 16s in the long irons I could
see this working in some cases. - Below is a chart to help you make your fitting decisions.
